Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric – Full-Time Days – LiveWell Homecare Agency

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive team member providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical environment. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring individualized care aligned with evidence-based standards and cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making, focusing on patient goals.
• Coordinate and document safe care delivery, supporting a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and clinical protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional growth and a healthy work environment.
• Promote evidence-based practice, compliance with policies, and participation in data collection and clinical questions.
• Support resource management and proactive care planning across the continuum.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state), BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in technology, critical thinking, and time management.
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments and respond decisively to emergencies.
