Groundsman – Quality Diversified Services

Quality Diversified Services is seeking a hardworking and dependable Groundsman to join our growing tree removal team. Experience in the tree care industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and CDL qualifications.

This is a career-growth position. Candidates must be willing to learn the operation of company equipment and work toward obtaining a Class A CDL as part of their ongoing development within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removal and storm cleanup operations
• Drag, stack, and process brush and debris
• Operate chainsaws and other hand tools safely
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Assist with rigging, equipment setup, and cleanup
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Learn to operate company equipment, including aerial lifts, loaders, and other tree care equipment
• Perform general labor duties as assigned

QualificationsPreferred

• Previous tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience
• Class A CDL
• Experience operating heavy equipment

Required

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials
• Willingness to learn quickly and take direction
• Commitment to obtaining a Class A CDL if not currently licensed
• Willingness to learn how to safely operate company equipment
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
