Job Summary
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the person will be in charge of assisting the operators in connecting, loading, unloading the rail cars and any other required tasks

Responsibilities

  • Transferring hot liquid asphalt products for receiving, blending and shipping purposes, including off-loading rail cars, and trucks.
  • Product testing and testing of boiler feed water
  • Maintenance
  • Keeping the work environment in a clean state
  • Maintaining written documents on each railcar
  • Working with CSX on car placement and car removal
  • Following all safety rules and maintain a clean safe working environment

Technical Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Excellent command of the spoken
  • English language Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Communication
  • Team Player
  • Good Analytic Thinking

Adaptability Work Conditions:

  • Lots of outside work and climbing of tank ladders up to heights of 60 feet
  • Possibility to be exposed to potentially dangerous environment
  • Overtime hours when needed
  • Entering tanks and confined spaces as needed
  • Hazmat and protective uniforms provided; safety googles, hard hat and steel toe boots provided by company
  • Work uniforms cleaned at company expense
