Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg/Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric – Full-Time Days – LiveWell Homecare Agency

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse works as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers, utilizing evidence-based standards and supporting shared governance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are prioritized.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and ethical guidelines.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and participation in performance improvement activities.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor to new staff and students, fostering professional growth.
• Support evidence-based practice, research, and policy adherence, including data collection and quality initiatives.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and system-wide safety and quality goals.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
