Part-Time Auto Detailer / Shop Assistant – Lama Collision

Job Description

Lama Collision is seeking a reliable, motivated Part-Time Auto Detailer to join our team. As a professional collision repair facility, our final detail is the last touch before a vehicle goes back to the customer, we take immense pride in delivering vehicles in pristine, pre-accident condition (or better).

Responsibilities

• Post-Repair Final Details: Wash, vacuum, clean interior glass, wipe down trim, and prep completed repair vehicles for customer delivery.
• Buffing & Polish Prep: Wash down vehicles post-body work, clear compound dust, and prep panels for delivery.
• Shop Maintenance: Assist in keeping work areas, detail bays, and shop floors clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Vehicle Staging: Safely move customer vehicles around the shop lot and staging areas as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of auto detailing or body shop detail experience preferred.
• Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, safe driving record (Required).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to catch missed spots, compound dust in panel gaps, and interior smudges before customer walk-arounds.
• Dependability: Punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced collision environment.
• Physical Demands: Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.

Schedule

• Part-Time (approx. 20–28 hours per week)
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday . *******possibly turn into a full time position.
• Flexible schedule within standard operating shop hours.
