Summary

Under the guidance of the Mold setter Supervisor, the Mold Setter, removes and install molds in and reviews process conditions and inject the first article for QC sign off.

First shift (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Change out molds in machines in a timely manner following company Safety procedures
  • Set up machine process conditions that will yield best part quality at optimum cycle times
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, molds, machines, product quality, and overall performance
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment all the time
  • Be a role model in applying the NDS Core Values
  • Perform any other jobs as directed from time to time
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices
  • Use hand tools (i.e. wrenches pliers) to remove and install molds and inject first article for QC sign off.
  • Ensures jobs are completed safely, properly and within estimated time frame
  • Review settings as needed to best quality and cycle time performance

Position Requirements

  • Education – High School graduate
  • Knowledge – Computer literate. English verbal and written communication is essential
  • Work Conditions – Able to drive a forklift and physically fit to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

  • Plastics injection molding: 3 years (Required)
