We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bus Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting Children to and from various elementary schools in the area, ensuring a positive and secure experience for all. Responsibilities

• Safely operate buses for school transport am and pm routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness
• Communicate clearly with passengers, providing assistance as needed and managing behavior effectively to maintain a respectful environment
• Maintain accurate logs of routes, passenger counts, and incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Assist children or individuals with special needs if necessary, demonstrating compassion and patience
• Respond promptly to route changes or emergencies, coordinating with Management or emergency services when necessary
• Uphold a professional appearance and attitude at all times, representing the organization positively within the community
• Part time position with the possibility to work additional hours inside the facility at an hourly rate

Experience

• Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles, with a passenger endorsement, strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures
• Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism
• Experience in customer service roles that require clear communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
• MUST HAVE PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT.
