Summary/Objective:
The Sales Coordinator serves as a vital link between the sales team, customers, and suppliers, ensuring seamless operations and efficient sales processes. This role requires a mix of strategic support, technical understanding, and administrative expertise to drive sales success. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders. The candidate should be comfortable working with various product lines and helping customers identify the right solutions, akin to a sales engineer.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

Vendor and Product Support:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product lines offered by multiple supplier vendors.
  • Assist the sales team in identifying the right products to meet customer needs, acting as a technical resource when necessary.
  • Maintain a database of supplier products, pricing, and specifications for easy reference.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate and timely product information, including availability and lead times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier representatives to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Quote Development and Management:

  • Assist the sales rep(s) with entering data, managing and building detailed and accurate quotes using HubSpot (Bliss’ CRM) & QuickBase (Bliss’ quote system).
  • Review quotes for completeness and accuracy to help act as a peer check for sales rep before submission to customers.
  • Track the status of quotes and follow up on pending approvals.
  • Develop standardized quote templates for different project types in coordination with the sales rep.

and Database Administration:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining systematic CRM workflows using HubSpot and QuickBase.
  • Create and update customer profiles with relevant information to support the sales pipeline.
  • Track and monitor customer interactions and communication history within the CRM system.
  • Ensure the sales pipeline remains up-to-date and reflective of current opportunity stages.
  • Generate detailed reports on sales activities, outcomes, and pipeline metrics to support team decision-making.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits and updates to ensure accuracy.
  • Create and distribute weekly/monthly sales performance reports and set up automated alerts for follow-up activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales support or coordination role
  • Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Knowledge of sales processes and best practices
  • Understanding of basic business principles and practice

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Hubspot & Quickbase is a bonus and database management is a requirement
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience with sales tools and software

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Experience in business writing and proposal development

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
