Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients receive their medication on time
  • Support clients who can’t move on their own
  • Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
  • Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Cook meals according to the client’s restrictions
  • Help clients with their shopping
  • Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
  • Provide emotional support
  • Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (If applicable)
  • Compliance with State of Georgia regulations, Background check, and TB Test.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license (REQUIRED)
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
  • Current TB Screening preferred
  • CNA License (GA) is a plus
  • At least 6 months of experience caring for the elderly required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
